
Italian Pasta Bake with Vegetables
Simple to bake for a hearty midweek meal for the family.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. uncooked pasta such as penne or rotini
- 1 lb. Italian sausage or ground beef cooked and drained
- 1 jar 24 oz. prepared pasta sauce
- 1 can 29 oz. Veg-All® Mixed Vegetables, drained
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese divided
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350°F. Cook pasta according to package directions in a large saucepan or Dutch oven; drain and return to pan.
- Stir in cooked meat, pasta sauce, vegetables, 1 cup mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
- Spoon pasta mixture into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake 30 minutes.
- Remove foil; bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until cheese is bubbly.
- Cool 10 minutes before serving.
